Phenomenex Acquires Micron Analitica S.A. in Spain to Expand Global Presence

Torrance, CA (May 1, 2015) Phenomenex, Inc., a global leader in the research and manufacture of advanced technologies for the separation sciences, announced today that it has expanded its European subsidiary network by acquiring its long-time and successful Spanish distribution partner, Micron Analitica S.A.. “We are so very proud to welcome our newest company into the Phenomenex family”, says Fasha Mahjoor, President and CEO of Phenomenex. “I have always had such a deep respect for Founder and President of Micron Analitica S.A., Mr. Carlos Perez, and the astonishing success he has had in Spain over the last 22 years, having led his company into the top market position. And now, in joining with our Phenomenex family and all the support within, I have no doubt that with Mr. Perez’s continued leadership, our future together will be even brighter.”

Direct presence in Spain will allow Phenomenex to tailor its products and services to better support Spanish customers unique work requirements, including the development and manufacture of new technologies. Customers will also have access to comprehensive technical and greater product support, educational seminars, in-lab technology demonstrations, and method development services.
