Gingerol from Ginger Root by HPLC-UV (TN-1139)


Abstract:
This technical note aims to optimize and exisiting method to reduce total analysis time using newer, high efficiency HPLC technologies as well as to evaluate the quantitative results obtained by using newly available gingerol and shogaol reference standards versus a traditional quantitation method that relies on using capsaicin as a reference standard.
