Below is a list of GC inlet parts that should be replaced regularly as general preventative maintenance.

Depending on sample matrix, some parts will need to be replaced more or less often. In such instances, a set length of time or number of injections should be decided upon.

Approximate Item Replacement Frequency:

• Septa: ~100 injections (depends on needle style)
• Liners: Sample dependent, though generally no more than 6 months
• Rubber O-ring: ~6 months or with each liner change
• Gold seal: Sample dependent, though generally no more than 6 months
